Our pick of the answers:

Wow i am pretty much your exact body type! Im 5’11″ and 160 lbs.

Anyway, The only thing I would say is maybe straighten your hair. This doesn’t have to be every day, perhaps a few times a week. It definitely helps in adding style and shows versatility. I love long hair on girls, and if you are worried about your weight, I would avoid getting it cut short. Having long hair creates the illusion of length in the body, therefore making you seem leaner.

I know that when I was your age I was very self conscious about my height. As for clothes, I have learned what to do and what not to do in order to make my body seem great. Here are some tips
- Short dresses are going to be too short on you as they are for me. Pay extra attention to the waist and the bottom hem of dresses, since they will be a little above where they should be. I know White House Black Market makes short dresses that I fit really well into (they are, however, expensive).
- Make sure your jeans/pants fit properly! If you are wearing them with heels, make sure that the hem is long enough for the shoe (unless they are skinny jeans. Then they will just go to your ankles).

Okay so obviously you aren’t happy with your weight. Here are some simple ideas as to play up your awesome curves, as well as make your body seem thinner.
- V-neck lines will always make the body seem super lean. They elongate the neck, making you seem thinner. But be sure that (since you are so curvy) you aren’t giving too much boob-age. Pair any tops with a low plunge with a pretty tank underneath.

- Create a definite waist. This can be done by either a band/belt, or a simple blazer over a colorful shirt. Avoid empire waists though. They make larger busts seem GIANT and can make you look pregnant too. Define the waist above your bellybutton, not below the bust.

“not this” example: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?catId=cat90030&productId=2371_9726&showId=2371_9726_400
- Make sure your shirts hit you at the right place on the hips. Make sure they aren’t above the top of your pants.
- The use of light colors on top and dark colors on bottom is a great rule to follow. It makes the thighs seem thinner if you wear a darker wash

- Don’t wear tight pants with a lose or baggy top. It makes you seem top-heavy; like you are about to fall over. Like skinny jeans and a huge sweatshirt= not cool. Great for lounging, not for public.

As for make up, you seem to have a pretty good grip on it. You have a light skin tone, so maybe adding some blush with a slight blue undertone would help you bring color to your face. I don’t know what color your eyes are, but Almay makes inexpensive and beautiful make up for all eye colors. You don’t need to follow the directions on how to apply it, just remember to always apply the dark color to the lid on the eye ball, the lighter color from the crease to the brow, and the lightest color under the brow and the inner corner. Super simple and super clean.
Lip color should never be too dark. You may want to stick to soft pink lipsticks or red-pink glosses.

Since you are so tall, you may want to check out delias.com and alloy.com. Both of them have pants with inseams up to thirty seven inches. For formal dances, Light in the Box makes custom dresses in every style, color and length available (http://www.lightinthebox.com/wholesale-Special-Occasion-Dresses_c2048).

I hope this helps you! Anymore questions about this, just ask =]
